The amazing festival showcasing skills is calling for student submissions in art, film, dance, music, video, animation, drama, documentary, experimental, fiction, script and performance.
Kingston ARTS London Student Festival (KALSF) is a common platform for screen & performing art students from various institutions around the world to exhibit their projects, to gain exposure of professional level, to share a common platform & to make vital connections with students from different institutions. Kingston ARTS London Student Festival is aiming to showcase the work of creative and aspiring students by accommodating departments such as media, scriptwriting, music, films, animation, dance & drama.
An international level screen & preforming art student festival, KALSF invites student from universities, schools and colleges and provides them with the opportunity to showcase their projects (screen & performance) to a vast variety of audience including students, faculty members from several institutions and also to industry professionals during the main event.

Kingston ARTS London Student Festival (KALSF) is entirely run by a committee of students at the Kingston University. We are really keen and motivated to speak to students from other institutions (school, college or universities), who would like to be a part of KALSF committee and help us hold this annual event every year. The festival is open only to the students & recent graduates from music, media & film, screenwriting, animation, dance &drama. KALSF EVENTS’ TEAM OPPORTUNITIES :
These are the people responsible for the proper functioning of the system in their respective departments.
- KALSF Festival Presenter: Looking for Festival Presenters for KALSF “2014″ who can work as part of a team with event coordinators, volunteers and other colleagues. The presenters will need to be reliable and have excellent people & interviewing skills who can work within a live show format. They must be extremely well presented& needs to have good command of English. Responsible for Introducing and hosting the event. Responding positively and quickly to problems or changes, and improvising where necessary. Reading from a script. Presenter must follow instructions given by the events organisers’.
- KALSF Events’ Coordinator Marketing & Promotions: Responsible for promoting and selling KALSF merchandise, distributing posters, flyers and rack cards to local area businesses and institutions. Promote festival awareness and pre-sell tickets. Assisting with promoting the festival through various media resources available.
- KALSF Events’ Photographer/Videographer: Someone who is totally responsible for documenting the festival event. Responsible for shooting/recording video of main inauguration event, stage performances and also responsible for recording the media interviews with performers, festival staff, judges etc. for the KALSF website archives.
